Small groups. Real coaching.
Small group training gives you the structure and coaching of private sessions with the energy and accountability of training alongside others. Groups stay small — 2 to 6 people — so your coach can still see every rep and adjust on the spot.
The programming follows the same therapeutic approach as our one-on-one work: strength as the foundation, corrective exercise and mobility to keep joints happy, and progressions scaled to each person in the room. Nobody is asked to keep up with someone else's body.
Sessions run in Burnaby around Gilmore Ave and Hastings St, making them easy to reach from Brentwood, Willingdon Heights, Capitol Hill, the Heights, and Burnaby North. It's the most affordable way to train with us consistently, and for many adults 40+ the social side is exactly what makes it stick.

How Small Group Sessions Work
- Small groups of 2 to 6 people so coaching stays hands-on
- Sessions run 45 to 60 minutes: warm-up, mobility, strength blocks, cool-down
- Everyone follows the same session structure with loads and variations scaled to them
- Grouped by ability and goals, not just by schedule
- Same assessment-first approach used in one-on-one training
- Consistent weekly time slots so training becomes a habit
Group Training vs. One-on-One
- Lower cost per session than private training
- Built-in accountability — a group that notices when you're missing
- Social energy that keeps adults 40+ showing up long-term
- Still coached and still scaled: exercises are modified for your joints and history
- Best suited to people already moving reasonably comfortably
- Choose one-on-one instead if you're in active pain, post-surgery, or need a fully bespoke progression

FAQ
Small Group Training FAQs
Groups are intentionally small — usually 2 to 6 people. That keeps coaching personal enough to correct technique in real time.
No. Groups are organized by ability, and every exercise has a scaled option. If you're brand new, we may recommend starting with a few one-on-one sessions to build a base first.
Yes. Our groups are built around the same senior and 40+ focus as our private training: strength, balance, mobility, and pain-free movement rather than high-impact circuits.
Absolutely — partner and small friend groups are one of the most popular formats, and shared goals make consistency far easier.
